About this album:
I wrote this album in the most complex and dark period of my life so far, a lot of things happening around me and turning my life upside down. In the midst of impermanence and uncertainty, I had to reboot myself physically and mentally. My brain burned to the ashes and I had to slowly rebuild it up again somehow. It was sobering to realize how fragile I was and how it was a whole physical thing triggered by real things and mental things. It was a total emotional and physical paralysis, so I started to make some intense changes in myself and my environment. Spontaneously these changes were brought to my creative process too. I began to write more freely, letting everything flow as part of the process and leaving aside structures, anxieties, whims and ties. The result was something extremely liberating and my most intimate and revealing work to date. This album is an open book to the world about a very personal process of acceptance, meditation, resilience, frustrations, despair, falls, resurgences and most of all… silence. Every song and every title come from a moment of this journey. When everything is burned down, music prevails.
